Mary Evelyn Looney, age 91, was born February 25, 1924 in Colbert County and died June 2, 2015 at her home in Leighton. Her family will receive friends Thursday, 11:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Old Bethel Church. The funeral service will follow with Bro. Roger Lovelady officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Looney was a member of Old Bethel Church and was preceded in death by her parents; Elvin and Elizabeth Logan, three brothers; William, Russell and Tom Logan, one sister; Grace
Pace, one son; Andy Joe Looney and daughter-in-law; Linda Looney.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-three years, Andrew Jack Looney, two sons; Jimmy Looney, Alvin Looney and wife Pansy; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are; Dewey Pace, Jerry Logan, Dusty Looney, Cory Rumble, Wade Nix and Brian Campbell.
