Mary Eszell Lawrence, age 99 of Bear Creek, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Lakeland Community Hospital.
Mrs. Lawrence was born on August 18, 1921 in Bear Creek, Alabama.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00pm. Elton Cummings will officiate. Burial will be at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.
Eszell is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Andrews; grandson, Heath Andrews; great granddaughter, Olivia Andrews; nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Lawrence; son-in-law, John Andrews; and parents, Virgil Odis and Nancy Jane Bailey.
