Mary Estelle Webb Horton, age 86 of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016. The family will receive friends Friday, 11-1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia with the funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Jeff Noblit will officiate and burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Mary was a faithful member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, William C. Horton, son; William Clay (Butch) Horton Jr. and wife Michele of Tuscumbia, daughter; Sandra Kay Horton Brown and husband Archie of Tuscumbia, brothers; Arlond Webb of Tuscumbia, Homer Webb and wife Betty of Russellville, sisters; Martha Brown and husband Johnny C. of Russellville, Gail Jones and husband Jimmy of Phil Campbell, grandchildren; Archie Brown Jr. (Mia), Caacie Dixon (Matt), Ashley Williams (Roger), Josh Turner (Sheldale) and Jami Turner, seven great-grandchildren Cooper, Maggie Kate and Caroline Dixon, Brandon and Justin Williams, Ella and Max Brown.
Mary loved her church, camping and fishing. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Josh Turner, Roger Williams, Matt Dixon, John Webb, Terrell Webb and Gary Jarnigan.
Mary’s family extends much love and gratefulness to Marlene Jarnigan for all the love and care given our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
