Mrs. Mary Ellen Hatcher, 79 of Tuscumbia passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a native of Rutherford County Tennessee and a member of First United Methodist Church in Tuscumbia where she played the piano for her Sunday School Class. Mary was also the organist at St. James United Methodist Church for 25 years. 
Visitation will be Monday, September 1, 2014 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. David Dale.
Mrs. Hatcher is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert T. Hatcher, mother, Viola Naron, father, John O. Winters, and three brothers, Jack, Floyd, and Andrew Winters.
She is survived by three sons, Billy Hatcher(Sheila) of Hermitage, TN., Jim Hatcher(Connie) of Muscle Shoals, and Mark Hatcher(Jackie) of Tuscumbia, brother, Clyde Winters Sr.(Sara Jo) of Arrington, TN. sister-in-law, Evelyn Winters, grandchildren, Sarah Katharine(Kat) Gorney, Joshua, Jacob, Caleb, Eli and Daniel Hatcher , great grandchildren, Teddy Gorney, Grayson, Corbin and Hank Hatcher. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Hatcher, Jacob Hatcher, Caleb Hatcher, Eli Hatcher, Daniel Hatcher and Clyde Winters Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Teddy Gorney, Grayson Hatcher, Corbin Hatcher, and Hank Hatcher.
Mrs. Hatcher was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed
