Mary Ellen Feltman Pharr, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Hodges, AL to Venson Roden and Versie West Feltman. She was retired from Munsingwear and was a chicken farmer. She was a member of Hodges Convention Baptist Church.
Services will be Friday, July 14, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Heath McCarley officiating. Burial will be in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years – Grady Pharr; three daughters – Lisa Pope, Cindy Mitchell (Chris) and Amanda Miller (J.R.); grandchildren – Jason Pope (Sam), Paige Ricketts, DJ Emerson (Jill) and Tyler Emerson (Courtney); great-grandchildren – Braylynn and Hunter Pope, Kingston and Bankston Ricketts, Kynnedi Pope, Marleigh and John Knox Emerson and one sister – Judy Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wesley Feltman and a sister, MaeNita Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jason Pope, DJ Emerson, Tyler Emerson, J.R. Miller, Chris Mitchell and Barry Pope.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 1-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
