Mrs. Mary Ella Owens Clarke, I03, of Huntsville passed away peacefully on Sunday, February I8, 2024. She was born on October I0, 1920, to Charles J. Owens, Sr., and Mary Ella Owens. Mrs. Clarke was a homemaker and a lifelong faithful member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Robert V. Clarke.
Survivors include sons Lindsey (Sherry) and Charles. Also surviving are grandchildren Katie, Stephanie, Kiley, Nicholas, and Phillip.
The family wishes to extend our heartfelt love and gratitude to Doreatha Bennett and Alice Cawthorn for their kindness and amazing care over her last years. We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff of Compassus Hospice of Huntsville for their assistance and care during this time.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 22, at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
