Mary Ella Montgomery, 80, of Rogersville, Ala., formerly of Madison, Ala., passed away in peace Tuesday, June 25, at Huntsville Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Mary Eleanor Pritchett, of Cynthiana, Ind.
Mary Ella is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Montgomery; son, Brent (Jane) Montgomery; daughter, Tamara (Allan Fegenbush) Montgomery. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Aspen (Dave) Bergmann, Brecken, Tyler and Christopher Montgomery. Ella was the proud great-grandmother of Savannah, Isabella and newborn Grant.
Mary Ella was born in Cynthiana, Ind. and graduated from Cynthiana School where she was a good student, cheerleader and liked by all. Mary Ella was a master gardener and enjoyed the outdoors spending time gardening, fishing and boating throughout her life.
Memorial services will be held at Rogersville Funeral Home on July 6. Family and friends may arrive at 2 p.m. to visit and share memories. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Another memorial service will be held in Cynthiana, Ind. at a later date.
