Mary Elizabeth Rains, 100, of Muscle Shoals, passed away April 28, 2014.
Visitation will be May 1, 2014, from noon-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with funeral services to begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Bill Newman is officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Rains, parents, Henry and Georgia Waynick, and siblings, Tennie Adkins, Daisy Russell, Mildred Ellis, Arthur Waynick, Luther Waynick, Ellen Edwards, and Cora Wright.
Survivors include daughters, Jolene Richards (Larry) and Darlene Rains;
grandchildren, Vickie Manning (Charley) and Gregg Richards;
great-grandchildren, Austin and Cailin Manning and Katara Richards; and
sisters, Agnes Ellis and Myrtle Burris.
Pallbearers will be Larry Richards, Gregg Richards, Derek Keener, Melvin Myhan, Rayburn Pace, and Norman Rich.
