Mrs. Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Conner, age 60 of Lineville, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega. A memorial service will be planned in Rockhill, SC at a later date.
Born in Rockhill, SC, Liz was a 1978 graduate of Rockhill High school and became a resident of Clay County in the 1980’s. She loved reading, animals, motorcycles and was interested in Native American artifacts and relics. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and always a free spirit. Liz followed to the beat of her own drum; and listening to loud music or Rock & Roll was something she will be remembered for.
She is survived by her son, Caleb Conner (Danielle) of Ashland, her granddaughters: Natalie and Ella Conner, her mother, Betty Conner, her sister, Cindy Conner Sargent, her aunt, Sylvia Richardson, all of Rockhill, SC, her nieces: Rebecca Sims of Munford, Courtney Camp and Whitney Boykin, both of Rockhill, SC, her nephews: Drew, Jason and Blake Conner, all of Rockhill, SC, a host of friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Conner, her sister, Lynn Conner and her brother, Larry “Goober” Conner.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lineville Health & Rehab for their many years of love and support that they showed Mrs. Liz.
The family requests no flowers; instead memorial contributions may be made to the funeral expense or to your favorite charity.
