Mary Elizabeth Isbell, age 89 of Athens died Tuesday at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. Isbell was born July 19, 1931 in Colbert County, Alabama. Mrs. Isbell was a homemaker and a member of Greenbrier Church of Christ.
Services will be Friday at 4 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Kyo Jhin and John Bryson officiating.
Visitation will be one hour before the service. The burial will follow the service at 6 pm at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Isbell Martin and her husband Michael Martin. Alvin Lee Isbell and his wife Kay Asew Isbell. Martha Isbell Smith and her husband Nathan Smith. Stephen Foster Isbell, and Walter Carl Isbell and his wife Ann Thompson Isbell. Twelve Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandson. Sister, Janice Lewis Foster and her husband George Foster.
Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her Husband, Conard Isbell.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
