Mary Eleanor Mazza Garvin, 82, a native of Huntsville passed away March 2, 2013. Mrs. Garvin attended Huntsville High School and Ward-Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee now known as Belmont University. She transferred later to the University of Alabama where she received her degree in Secondary Education. Mrs. Garvin is preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Eleanor Garvin and her husband John C. Garvin, Jr. Mrs. Garvin is survived by one daughter; Mary Anastasia (Stacie) Garvin. Mrs. Garvin was a lifelong member of St. Mary Church of the Visitation.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with a Rosary to follow. The funeral mass will be at Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
