Mary E. Robinson, 67, of Athens, born June 21, 1956, in Athens, Alabama, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2024.
She was a faithful member of Elkton Road Baptist Church and worked as a nurse at Athens-Limestone Hospital for over forty years. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, Doyce and Edna Stone and her brother, Cub Stone. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Robinson; children, Brian Robinson (Karen) of Nairobi, Kenya, Jeff Robinson of Athens, and Scott Robinson (Mallory) of Athens; grandchildren, Corrie Beth, Charis, Boaz, and Murphy; brothers James Stone of Meridianville, Joe Stone of Ardmore, Tennessee; and sister Doris Stone of Athens.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 20, at 12:00 noon, at Elkton Road Baptist Church, 19470 Elkton Rd., Athens, AL 35614, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m.
