Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. “Betsy” Kizer, 86, will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Mrs. Kizer, a retired employee of MagneTek, died Friday, October 6, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Henry Ray Kizer; two sisters, Mabel Buck and Billie Woods; and two brothers, J. D. and Ralph Moore.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Linda) Kizer and Danny (Starla) Kizer; a sister-in-law, Marcelle Moore; a brother-in-law, Hugh Waldrop; two grandchildren, Brian (Lillie) Kizer and Katherine (Jeffery) Rice; four great grandchildren, Mason Kizer, Westin Kizer, Trinity Rice, and Dalyn Rice.
Betsy (“Granny”) loved her Lord, her family, and her friends. She will always be remembered for her willingness to serve others.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Briarwood Community Living Center. The love and care they gave to “Granny” will never be forgotten. A special thanks goes to two human angels, Jamie and Lucinda.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Wildersville Church of Christ, 602 Crockett Rd. Wildersville, TN 38388.
