Mary Deloris Saint, of Arab, born September 7, 1940, passed peacefully on March 29, 2026.
Deloris was a dedicated and hardworking woman. She worked until the remarkable age of 76 and retired from Walmart in 2016 after 35 years of service. This is a testament to her strong spirit and commitment and love for people.
Deloris found joy in life’s simple pleasures – preparing meals that brought her family together, creating a home filled with comfort and love and always tending to those in need. Her kindness, sweetness and caring nature touched everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Coker (Bo), her granddaughter, Vanessa Kennamer (Mont) and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her special girls – Regina Gregory, Theresa Smith and Susan Martin. They held a significant place in her heart and were a constant in her life and care during her battle with Alzheimer’s.
Deloris is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Buddy Saint; her son, Greg Saint; sister, Ann Lemley; brothers, Tommy Cobb and Dwight Cobb; special friend O.P. Johnson.
The family has chosen a private ceremony.
