We have come on this day to honor and cherish the life and memories of Mary Clardy Blythe, known to us all as Penny.Penny was born April 28th, 1957, and departed this life June 3rd, 2026. She was a resident of Mayfair Towers in Huntsville, Al. and was a faithful, devoted member of New Vision United Pentecostal Church.
Penny is preceded in death by her father, Billy Fred Clardy Sr.; mother, Edith Bernice Clardy (BC); brother, Billy Fred Clardy Jr.; and nephew, Billy Fred Clardy III.
She is survived by one brother, Tim Clardy and four sisters: Nancy Gail Sanders, Mickey Giarratano (Stephen), Debbie Clardy and Amanda Wright (Jeff); along with nieces, nephews, her Mayfair Family, her church family, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, AL 35811. A Celebration of Life Service to honor Penny will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 10:00am in Valhalla’s Celebration Chapel. Penny will be laid to rest at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
