  Mary Charles Berwind Profile PhotoMary Charles Redman Berwind, 77, resident of Columbia, TN, and retired clerk for Tennessee Farm Bureau, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN with Brandon Cochran officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

Born on June 1, 1946, in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Ben Collins Redman and the late Jo Lawson Redman. Mrs. Berwind enjoyed riding and taking care of horses, a passion she developed from a young age. She retired from Tennessee Farm Bureau, where she worked as a clerk for thirty plus years.

She is survived by her daughters, Christi (Kevin) Wehby of Nashville, Carol (Eric) Hinson of Culleoka; granddaughter, Grace Wehby of Nashville; brother, Johnny (Paulette) Redman of Dover; and nephews, John John Redman and Joey Redman of Dover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special friend, Buford Gladney.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Sharleen and Keith Hawks; and Jenny Mollen, NP.
