Mary Carolyn Durham, 69, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018, at her home. She was born February 17, 1949, in Lauderdale County, MS, to Buddy Alex and Alice Pauline Ivy Boykin. She was a homemaker and loved attending Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed her parakeets, crafts, cooking, pictures, and antiques, and especially loved her grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 25, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Rodney Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in the Old Verona Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Billy O. Durham; two sons, Billy Alex Durham (fiancée Esther) of Wren and Paul E. Durham of Birmingham, AL; two daughters, Christie Seely (Robert) of Guntown and Buddie Rose Rowell (Billy Ray) of Aberdeen; three brothers, Gary Boykin of Senatobia and Paul Boykin and Tony Boykin, both of Southaven; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
