Mary Carlean Rhodes Gray was born April 11, 1933 in Michie, TN the daughter of the late Jim Rhodes and Gertrude Lambert Rhodes. On May 20, 1952, she took her vows and entered into a loving union with David Gray. Mr. Gray preceded her in death on May 27, 2017. She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Shiloh, Tennessee. She possessed a green thumb when tending to her garden and planting vibrant flowers. Mary’s sister held a special place in her heart, and they shared countless cherished moments together. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren; their laughter and presence filled her days with immeasurable happiness.
Carlean departed this life on November 5, 2023 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 6 Months, 25 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Ann (Gray) Wolfe and husband Scotty of Jackson, TN; sister, Barbara Wood of Michie, TN; three grandchildren: Blake Wolfe, Bailey Wolfe, Peyton Wolfe; cousins, Doris Nalin of Evansville, IN and Ralph Mills of Acton, TN; and a host of extended family, friends and caregivers.
