Mary Buha Kochoff, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. She was the daughter of Elena Cios Buha and Theodore T. Buha Sr, who both emigrated from Romania to Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by her siblings, James Buha, Theodore T. Buha Jr., Dorothy Buha Popa, and Alice Buha Berent; her husband of 62 years, Boris Velko Kochoff; and son, Michael Patrick Kochoff.
Survivors include daughters, Elaine Kochoff Moorhead (William), Beverly Kochoff, and Michele Kochoff Platt (Don); younger sister, Florence Buha Ganoff; and grandchildren, Nikita Michael Platt and Kirill Moorhead.
Visitation will be from 3-4pm Saturday at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church with service immediately following at 4pm. Burial will be later in Detroit, MI. (www.laughlinservice.com)
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael’s Orthodox Church.
