Mary Ann Sharp, 79, of New Market, AL, passed peacefully from this life to go meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Friday morning May 6,2022 in Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Sharp; stepson Michael Sharp; grandchild Ethan Sharp; mother, father, both brothers, and all three sisters.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Nash; sons, Keith (Tammy) Sharp and Kevin (Candace) Sharp; daughter-in-law, Robin Sharp; ten grandchildren: Devin (Sarah) Tremblay, Elise Tremblay, and Holly, Bryan (Angela), Dalton, Peyton, Tanner, and Mason Sharp; six great-grandchildren: Sydney, Selena and Jaxson Tidwell, Trace Burdette and Laine Sharp; nephew, Bill Douglas; nieces: Peggy Sheaf, Patty (Michael) Leslie and Donna (Butch) Whittridge; and so many other loved family members and dear friends.
Born in Ohio in 1942, Mary Ann moved to Alabama in 1968. She loved being surrounded by her family. She especially enjoyed sharing holidays, birthdays, college football parties (Roll Tide and even a Go Bucks), BBQs, and any old excuse to celebrate being together. She did not know a stranger. She is well known for being a sweetheart, using the word “Honey” consistently in all conversations, and reminding folks to “go with the flow” and “just be happy”.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 10th from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial service to celebrate her life at 4:00.
