Mrs. Mary Ann Lamon, age 74, of Millport, AL, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at her residence on the day before her 75th birthday.
Mrs. Lamon was born April 8, 1950, to the late Perry Lee and Minnie Lee (Carter) Godfrey. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Clarence “Tip” Lamon. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ava (Warren) Robinson.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 11, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Chris McCool and Buddy Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include her brother, James (Ann) Godfrey, of Millport, AL; one sister, Alice (Joseph) Little, of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
