Mary Ann Gaglianese was born on June 27, 1961 in Geneva, New York. She was the daughter of Russell and Betty Gaglianese of Geneva, New York, and later, Fort Myers, Florida. She was the devoted mother of Austin Lin Rosario Frayser, of Starkville, Mississippi. Mary Ann passed away peacefully at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville on May 20, 2025.
Mary Ann spent much of her life in Fort Myers, Florida, where she enjoyed working as the owner of Nature’s Florist and City of Palms Florist, going to the beach, being with her family, and most of all, spending time with her beloved son, Austin. In 2005, she moved with her family to Starkville, where she found work in the hospitality sector and managed several apartment complexes throughout the years. Mary Ann was known for her determined work ethic and her strength as a single mother.
In her later years, Mary Ann could be found lovingly tending to her menagerie of pets and spending time with Austin and his stepdad, Grisham. She took the greatest pleasure in caring for and enjoying life with her Sunshine.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Michael Gaglianese; her sister, Linda Santilli, and her daughter Sophie Frayser.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Austin Lin Rosario Frayser; his father Mike Frayser, and her companion, Steve Grisham.
The service will be Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Starkville, MS, with a reception following the service at High Ground Coffee on Main Street in Starkville.
