Mary Ann Cummings was born August 15, 1947 to the late Solden Readus Sr. and Gertrude Brooks Readus Kelly in Huntsville, Alabama. Mary Ann transitioned and gained her Heavenly wings on April 10, 2025 at her residence in Stonecrest (Lithonia), Georgia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Mary Ann leaves to mourn her passing one Son Christopher Allen Cummings, three Sisters Darlene Readus, Marveline Readus, and Deborah Readus Green. Mary Ann was preceded in death her parents and two brothers Roosevelt Readus and Solden Readus Jr.
“NO TEARS IN HEAVEN”
There are no tears in Heaven nor grief of any kind; I leave this final teardrop to those I’ve left behind.
Though absent from the body, I’m present with the Lord; the joy of my salvation is now my full reward.
