  Mary Ann Ewing Profile PhotoMary Ann Collins Ewing was born August 30, 1935 in Shelbyville, TN to Mary Collins. She departed this earthly life on August 7, 2024 at NHC Lewisburg. Mary Ann was raised on a farm in the beautiful west end point of Bedford County by her loving grandparents Ike and Mattie Collins. She met the “One” and married Melvin P. Ewing and moved to the Needmore community in Lewisburg in 1954. They raised two children, Melba Ann and Melvin Eugene. She attended Miracle Temple of Deliverance in Columbia, TN before her health declined. She loved flea markets and yard sales looking for hidden treasures that she would share with friends and strangers. You were only a stranger once then a friend for life.

In addition to her mother and grandparents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, her Melvin Eugene, and her husband of sixty-three years, Melvin.

Mrs. Ewing leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Melba Ann (Terry), beloved cousins, Herbert Lee Stewart and Oscar Floyd and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Noon Monday, August 12, 2024 at Bills- McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cook Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00AM until funeral hour on Monday. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Ewing’s memory to Marshall County Memorial Library. Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral & Crematory is honored to serve the Ewing Family.
