Mary Amanda Norwood Burgess, born Dec. 9, 1920, died on Monday, July 6, 2015, in National Health Care, Pulaski, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by husband, Villard H. Burgess, son, Jerry Wayne Burgess, and daughters, Janet Burgess, Tracy Burgess, and Beverly Burgess Rager. Her parents were the late Marion Fredie and Lillian Pearl Warren Norwood.
Survivors include sons, Larry (Julie) Burgess and Danny Burgess, both of Michigan; brothers, Billy Gene Norwood, of Minor Hill, Tennessee, and Tom (Marian) Norwood, of Texas; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.
