Mary Alice Muse Colburn passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at the age of 85. Her memorial service will be Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
She was a native of Lauderdale County and retired as a secretary from State Farm Insurance. She was a member of the New Beginning Church. Mary Alice was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a special mom to many. She loved spending time with family, especially her great-great-nieces and nephews. She also loved animals especially her little dog, Corky. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. and Ethel C. Muse; brother, Lowell Muse; and sisters, Nelda Jeane Thigpen and Beth Clemons.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Muse Clark (Randy); sister, Brenda Baham (Aric); special grandson, Ryan Jones; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to the fourth floor nurses and staff of Shoals Hospital.
