Mary Alice Monroe On The Lawn At FLPL

FLORENCE-The Florence-Lauderdale Public Library is excited to host author Mary Alice Monroe on our front lawn Tuesday, June 8 at 5:30pm. Attendees will enjoy a catered dessert while listening to Monroe discuss her new books. This ticketed, author event will be the perfect kick off to FLPL’s 2021 Summer Reading Program for ALL AGES!

All ages are welcome to this author event at the library! Ages 16 and under are provided the Youth Ticket option, which will include a copy of Mary Alice Monroe’s brand new book, The Islanders and a catered dessert from Sugarbakers Cakes and Catering. The Islanders is a story of friendship, with an environmentally captivating setting, and it is intended for middle-grade readers.  For more information on this book CLICK HERE

The Adult Ticket option is intended for ages 16 and over. This ticket will provide attendees with a copy of Mary Alice Monroe’s new novel, The Summer of Lost and Found and a catered dessert from Sugarbakers Cakes and Catering. The Summer of Lost and Found is a story featuring commitment, love, strength, and certain hardships that this unprecedented 2020 year has brought.  For more information on this book CLICK HERE

This is an outdoor, socially distanced event at FLPL, and attendance is limited. Be sure to get your ticket before the event is sold out or the ticket sales end on June 1.
