Mary Alice Highland, 93, of Iuka, Mississippi, died surrounded her by her family on Sunday, July 3, 2022. She loved to garden, and she spent her life taking care of her home and household. Mrs. Highland is survived by her daughter June Kay (Gary); her four grandchildren, Michael Pittman (Deanna), Jimmy Pittman (Britny), Danielle Smith (Edward), and Chase Kay (Jordan); her four great-grandchildren, James, River, and Laken Pittman, and Tucker Smith; and her sister-in-law, Jean Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Highland; her parents, Meldrage and Eula Bugg Lard; and her brother, Louis Lard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for immediately after at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Bro. Jackie Pittman. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Highland’s family. Interment will follow in Patrick Cemetery.
