Funeral service for Marvin Freeman, 86, will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Walls officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Freeman died on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1928, in Morgan County to Claude Freeman and Pearlie Mae Meeks Freeman. He was a commercial fisherman and was retired from John Blue Company where he worked as a welder and molder.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Gracie Wilson Freeman, son-in-law: Randal Wilson, five brothers: Harold, Hammond, Virgile, Horace and Charles”Buddy” Freeman. and three sisters: Lilly Freeman, Dollie Burgess, and Elizabeth Cooper.
