Marvin Edward Ruf, 78 of Athens, Alabama, entered to rest on Saturday March 2nd, 2024, at Athens Health & Rehab. He was born on August 2nd, 1945, to parents Willie Ruf and Minnie Gey.
Mr. Ruf is survived by his children Jason Ruf & Justin Ruf (Karla), his grandchildren Jaden Ruf & Jonas Ruf; and his sister Mary Ann Jacobs.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patsy Ruf; his brother Robert Ruf; and his sister Clara Bumpus.
Visitation for Marvin will be Tuesday March 5th, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 5pm to 8pm. Funeral service for Marvin will be Wednesday March 6th, 2024, at Germantown Cemetery at 3pm with Jeff Smith officiating the service.
Marvin was a Mt. Zion Church of Christ member who enjoyed golf, gardening, and woodworking.
