Marveline Palmer Isom, 82, Hodges, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at her residence.
She was retired from NTN Bower in Hamilton. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
The visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Atwood Hodges Southern Convention Baptist Church in Hodges. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at the church with Bro. Kent Walker officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jim Isom (wife, Debra), Pamela Isom; grandchildren, Mandy & Chris Bryant, Cristy & Kenny Jackson, Patrick & Erica Deaton, Shaina Emerson (fiancée, Landon); great-grandchildren, Zach Isom & Ashanti, Isabella Jackson, Kirk Bryant, Emily Bryant, Skyler Deaton, Alexus Barbour, Aliya Harding; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley Isom and Kamden Isom; brother, Ulon Palmer; and a host of nieces & and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.M. “Runt” Isom; infant grandson, Joseph Emerson; parents, Russell & Lula Palmer; brothers, Jack Palmer, Ralph Palmer, James Palmer, Robert Palmer; and sisters, Jewel Palmer, Barbara Stone.
The pallbearers will be Chris Bryant, Kenny Jackson, Zach Isom, Kirk Bryant, Patrick Deaton, and Skyler Deaton.
