Marvalyn Louise York Hurn, age 97, of Killen Alabama went to be with Christ on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday November 30th, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:30pm at Williams Funeral Home. The service will follow in the Chapel at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Leldon M. Thompson, second husband Alis Hurn.
Survivors are children, Maurice Thompson, Beth Lewis (Kenneth) Melinda Thompson (Mark Singleton), Timothy Thompson (Suzanne), Charlotte Justice and Randy Hurn.
Grandchildren, Jeremy Jones (April), Zachary Jones (Alison), April Shelton (Jeff), Rebecca Gulley, Hannah Mckinney (Roger), Rachel Thacker, many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marvalyn loved her church family, she enjoyed teaching vacation bible school and Sunday school. She always drove a station wagon so she could take the children to church.
