Mr. Marty Leon Worthy, age 55, of Quinton passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Burnwell Bible Church of God. Ray Jackson will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hicks Venable. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Worthy of Quinton, AL; sons, Mark Erwin of Laurens, SC, Alexander “Alex” Worthy of Hayden, AL and Joshua “Josh” Russell of Quinton, AL;; sister, Marilynn Hicks of Oneonta, AL; uncle, Steve Hicks of Florida; grandchildren, Laura Erwin, Cole Brown, June Russell and Lincoln Russell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
