Wilson, Martin Lafayette, Jr., passed away peacefully on Feb. 24, 2015, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was born on May 29, 1927, in Florence, Ala., to Margaret (Williams) Branyon and Martin L. Wilson Sr.. Martin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Anne Irvine Wilson (Howard). Martin is survived by his five children, David Howard Wilson (Peggy), Anne Martin “Marti” Hancock (Greg), Benjamin Rollins Wilson, James Michael Wilson (Sheila) and Greg Groves Wilson (Linda); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Martin will be interred with Anne at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in March 2015.
