Funeral service for Marthorie Ophelia “Martha” Crow, age 84, of Decatur,
will be Sunday, June 9, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Dr. Ben Hayes officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8, 2013,
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Crow, who died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital,
was born June 7, 1928, in Limestone County,
to Albert Sims Bland and Ophelia Wakham Bland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Earl Crow.
Mrs. Crow was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Michael Howard Crow of Decatur;
two daughters, Glynice Crow McGrew (Robert) of Decatur,
and Marsha Crow Sharp (Billy) of Muscle Shoals;
one sister, Marjorie Bland Carrell of Decatur;
seven grandchildren, Kevin McGrew (Stephanie) of Somerville,
Wesley Crow (Madison) of Cullman, Brandon Sharp of Madison,
Tracie Sharp Gandy (Dr. Dustin Gandy) of Dothan, Allison Sharp Pettus (Jeremy)
of Chattanooga, TN, Rachel Crow of Decatur, and Katie Crow of Decatur;
and four great-grandchildren, Caraline Gandy, Mason Gandy,
Abbey Pettus, and Harris Crow.
Pallbearers will be Kevin McGrew, Wesley Crow, Brandon Sharp,
Dustin Gandy, Jeremy Pettus, and Danny Sandlin.
