Martha Rose HollidayMartha Rose Holliday, age 74, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on October 23, 2025, at Marshall Medical Center South. She was born on June 2, 1951, in the Tuscumbia area and later made her home in Marshall County, Alabama.

Martha was a devoted follower of Jesus and was baptized at Central Baptist Church. She was a loving mother who planted the seed of faith in her children’s hearts from an early age—seeds that continue to flourish today in her grandchildren, who also love Christ. She was a hard worker who faced many battles in life but always overcame them with her strong will and “never quit” attitude.
Known for her wit and sense of humor, Martha had a style all her own and was refreshingly honest and straightforward. She loved good food, enjoyed cooking, and cherished any chance to go out to eat with her family. She found beauty in all of God’s creations, especially her beloved rose bushes. Above all, she loved people, often sitting with others in their times of need and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We are rejoicing that she is fully healed and in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband, James Holliday; children, Renae (Terry) Prickett, Anthony Bohannan, and Chastity (Seth) Weathersby; grandchildren, Ryan (Ryleigh) Prickett, Rachel Prickett (Jack Kline), Joseph Prickett, Allysha Bohannan, Jordan Bohannan, Alvie Rose Weathersby, and Joseph Blaise Weathersby; and sister, Margaret (David) Langford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Stout; sister, Frances Hamm; and brother, Richard Stout.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
