Obituary of Martha Rogers Martha Rogers, 73, of Miami, Florida, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born September 5, 1952, Martha will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved her.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Myrtle Vaughn, and her brother, Thomas Vaughn. She is survived by her three sons, Joshua Rogers, Paul Rogers, and Mark Rogers; her daughter-in-law, Lindsay Rogers; her two grandsons, Zachary Rogers and Brayden Rogers; and her three sisters, Theone Brionez, Sherry Higgins, and Marcelle Mahesn.

Those closest to Martha knew a woman whose love was steady and unmistakable—expressed in gentle ways, in compassionate attention to others, and in the quiet devotion that makes a person truly beloved. She carried a sense of adventure that showed itself in the simple joys she embraced and the life she built around what mattered most.

Martha loved her family, the beach, thrifting and antiquing, University of Alabama Football, and—most of all—spoiling her grandchildren, a joy she held close and shared generously.

A Memorial Service will be held at College Heights Baptist Church, 411 Rabbittown Rd, Glencoe, AL 35905, US, on June 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Opus Care of Florida, the hospice care team that took excellent care of her, and Sherry Higgins for taking care of mom from day one.

Proverbs 31:25-26

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”
