Martha McMeen Whitten, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Maury County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lettie Fields McMeen; her husband, Hubert Whitten; one daughter, Sue Carol Whitten; one sister, Ellen McMeen West; and six brothers, Mahlon, Marvin, Melvin, Monroe, Frank & A.J. McMeen.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, August 03, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 03, 2013, with Bill Karnes officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
