Martha Loraine Nichols Kennedy was born June 19, 1924 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Charlie and Era Wilds Nichols.
Mrs. Kennedy was united in marriage to Mayferd Kennedy on January 19, 1947. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was also a long time member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kennedy departed this life on October 21, 2013 in Selmer, TN, at the age of 89 Years, 4 Months, 2 Days.
She is survived by a sister, Ona Allen of Nashville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her siblings, Hershell Nichols, Charles Nichols, Azalee Nichols and Mary Sims.
