Mrs. Martha “Libby” Smith Rodman, 81, of Smith Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at Albertville Rehab Select.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forrest Home Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rodman was born Oct. 10, 1934 to Tom Watson & Willie Mae Jones Smith. She was a retired mathematician with NASA. Mrs. Rodman is survived by her Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: Charles & Betty Smith of Boaz and Reggie Smith & Linda Dover of Tuscaloosa. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Richard Rodman, Parents: Watson & Willie Smith, Brother: Philip Smith.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Maxwell, Donald Burgess, Randy Hales, Kevin Reece, Stephen Dover and David Dover.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. William Building Fund, Hospice of Marshall County, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
