Martha Joyce Reid Willingham, age 73, of Sheffield passed away Monday, September 05, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Howard Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Guy Cemetery.
Mrs. Willingham was a native of Colbert County and retired from NACOLG. She was a member of Christ Chapel, where she served as a counselor. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Autry Willingham; mother, Eleanor Gasque Reid Dickson; step-father, Granville Houston “Jack” Dickson; and brothers, Dillard and Lloyd Reid.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Tim, Al (Susan), Steve, and John Willingham (Brandy); daughter, Susan Willingham Hamm; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Reid Eckles (Johnny) and Chestine Reid Spires Wallace; and sister-in-law, Sharron Sockwell Reid.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
