A Celebration of Life Service for Martha Jo Carter, 73 of Corinth, MS, will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel. Brian Davis and Jenny McPheters will officiate the service. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12-3 pm Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Born on October 14, 1951, in Corinth, Mississippi, Martha Jo lived a life full of warmth, love, and dedication. Martha retired from World Color, where she was known for her hard work. However, her greatest joy came from her family. She cherished taking care of her daughter, Angie, and was known to create special moments filled with laughter and love. One of her favorite pastimes was enjoying a cup of coffee on her front porch, where she would often reflect on cherished memories and the warmth of family bonds. In her leisure time, Martha Jo found delight in playing games on her phone and watching her favorite show, Swamp People. She will be fondly remembered for her kind spirit and the loving impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her. Martha Jo is survived by her son, Kevin Carter (LeeAnna); her daughters, Angelia Huggins, Sandra Cummings (Darren), Kami Childers (Jesse); her grandchildren, Michael Hicks (Olivia), Keith Powers (Zadie), Hayley Morris (Braxton), Cole Childers (Maddie), Adam Carter (Mariana), Ashley Carter, Ethan Null, Chasity Strayhorn; 26 great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Jane Ford; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Hodum and her mother, Rosa Bernice Brown. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Martha Jo Carter.
