Martha Jewel Holley, 86, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. She was born on October 3, 1938, in Calhoun County, MS, to Willie Jessie Quarles and Lillian Glenn Quarles.
She leaves behind two sons, Robert Dean Holley and Mark Holley; one daughter, Joy Beth Holley; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Maxey.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Hulette Dean Holley; her parents; and her five brothers, J.C., C. Dean, Winston, Billy Wayne, and Gene Quarles.
The funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at County Line Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Donnie Finley. Visitation will start at 2 PM and continue until the service begins. The interment will take place at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is responsible for the arrangements.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Quarles, Randy Quarles, Ronald Quarles, Paul Heath, Chad Phillips, and Chris Phillips. Sherald Finley, Joe Long, and Tommy Luttrell will serve as honorary pallbearers.
