Obituary of Martha Jean Lincoln It is with deep love and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Jean Lincoln, 74, who gained her angel wings on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Martha’s life was defined by love, compassion, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family and those around her.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband, Linden (Ray) Lincoln; her parents, Herman and Vera Fielding; brother, Robert Fielding; sister, Pat (George) Martin, nephew, Josh Fielding and many others she loved dearly.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Teri Holt, grandchildren, Carson Holt, Nicole (Tyler) Andrews, brother, Johnny (Linda) Fielding, twin sister, Mary (Sam) Fleming, chosen family, Dr. Noorkarim, Dr. Huma Khusro, Haadi Karim, Alena Karim, and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, caregiver, and friend. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and loved. She enjoyed fellowship with others and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. She especially loved telling stories, sharing memories, laughter, and moments that brought people together. Her stories and the way she lived her life will remain treasured by all who knew her.

She lived her life to the fullest, embracing each day and the people she loved. She courageously battled cancer, facing her journey with remarkable strength and perseverance. Her story, her courage, and the way she continued to love and inspire others throughout her battle, Martha touched many lives.

Though she is no longer with us in this earthly life, her love, laughter, stories, and countless acts of kindness will live on in the hearts of everyone blessed to have known her. Her life was a beautiful testimony to the power of love, family, friendship, and perseverance. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Pallbearers are Carson Holt, Johnny Fielding, Billy Fielding, Jeremy Fielding, Kevin Martin, Tim Martin, Ronnie Tedder and Tyler Andrews.

Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Storey and staff, United Doctors Family Medical Center Sand Rock and staff, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden and staff, D.O.N. Robyn Burns and staff at Northside Rehabilitation for their care and concern during her illness.

In lieu of flowers and food deliveries to the funeral home, the family request that donations may be made to James Memorial Baptist Church Children and Youth Department at 2125 Ewing Avenue, Gadsden, Alabama 35901.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. Rev. Matt Johnson officiating.
