Martha Janice Lewis Foster, 90, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2, at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with David Conley officiating.
Martha was a member of Red Rock Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Clairice Lewis; son, Timothy O. Foster; sister, Mary Elizbeth Isbell; and brothers, Doyel Lewis, Edward Lewis, and Gilbert Lewis.
Martha is survived by her loving husband of seventy-four years, George W. Foster; children, George E. Foster (Angela), Melinda F. Waldrep (Arthur), and Paul K Foster; grandchildren, Art Waldrep, Andy Waldrep (Les), Callie Howard (Trey), Kevin Foster, Heather Hobbs (Meekum), Laura Foster, and Rachel Foster (Sam); and eight great-grandchildren.
The family offers special thanks to Hanna and Jessica at Gentiva Hospice, and sitters, Rhonda Vincent and Melinda Johnson.
