Martha Jane Smith Beasley, 72, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Russellville, AL to Kyle and Jetta Pearl Murray Smith. She was retired as a teacher at Red Bay Elementary School after thirty-two years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
There will be private graveside services with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Dallas Culver officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years – Thomas Beasley; two children – Sabrina Fancher and Jennifer Millwood (James); four grandchildren – William Millwood, John Mark Fancher, Peyton Millwood and Tyler Millwood; one sister – Katherine Forsythe (Greg); an aunt – Azilee Page and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Mark Fancher.
