Martha Jane Mason, 94 of Arab passed away Thursday December 25, 2025, at Barfield Health Care, Guntersville.
Mrs. Mason was born March 1, 1931, in Tennessee, the daughter of Emmitt Bently and Eva Stidger Bentley. She was a Homemaker, who loved caring for and providing for her family and was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
Martha is survived by two sons: Bill Mason (Kathy) and Jim Mason; two daughters: Judy Mason and Kathy Ponder; five grandchildren: Tammy Williams (Mike), Jason Golden, Kevin Golden, Tracy Elledge (Roger) and Katie Mason; thirteen great grandchildren and ten great, great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; she was preceded in death by her husband: Doyle Mason (2005), grandchildren: Amy Jones and Heather Golden; a great grandchild: Brooklyn Golden; her father: Emmitt Bentley, mother: Eva Freeman, sisters: Margaret Ann Williams and Inez Hazel, two brothers: Phillip Bentley and J.C. Bentley, special niece: Linda Hazel Scott.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 27, 2025, at Sweet Home Baptist Church, Brother Andy Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in the Eddy Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Jason Golden, Kevin Golden, Jamie Williams, Mason Golden, Clayton Golden and Roger Elledge. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tammy Williams, Tracy Elledge, Katie Mason and Drew Golden.
