Funeral Service for Mrs. Martha Gail Johnson Stewart, 79, of the Pines Community, will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Peck Funeral Home with Burial to Follow in Russell Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Peck Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Bro. Richard Richie will officiate the service.
Martha retired from Chrysler in 2002 after many years of service. Besides always working, she was a homemaker that loved her home to be a welcoming place. She loved her church, Blue Springs Baptist, gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting just to name a few. Most of all, Martha Loved Jesus and her family. She lended a hand to those in need and an ear to listen and encourage. She will be missed by many, both friends and family.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Anna Lee Johnson, sister, Frances Childers.
She is survived by:

Daughters: Melinda Gibson and Donna Koweski (Karl)
Son: Daryl Stewart (Jessica)
Seven Grandchildren: Elizabeth (Kelly), Dustin, Zachary, Gloria (Sawyer), Jared, Justin and Jacob
Four Great Grandchildren: Ty, Alliah, Gabriel and Everly
Sisters: Carol Montgomery, and Kathy Harbin (Al)
Brothers: Larry Johnson (Jan) and Kenneth Johnson
