Martha Gail Furline Aday, age 75, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at her residence in Sheffield, Alabama.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, Alabama with Keith Prince and Stephen Gill officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow at Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur, Alabama.
Mrs. Aday was born on May 22, 1949 to Cleon Whitman and Ludie Mae Flannagin Tucker in Moulton, Alabama. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Lee Furline; and sister, Luvener O’Dell Cheatham.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Aday; daughter, Heather Leigh (Shane) Trowbridge; son, Joshua David (Leigh) Furline; granddaughter, Tucker Leigh Furline; grandsons, Nickolas David and Carter Lee Furline; brothers, Joey Dale (Tina) Tucker and Quinton Max (Kelly) Tucker.
