Martha Fay Masterson, age 75, of Russellville, AL., passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating will be Shane McGregor and Mitchell Dalrymple.
Fay was loved by all who knew her and always had a smile on her face. She graduated from Central High School and attended Florence State. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Fay had a great joy in being with family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. One of her favorite past times was watching Braves baseball. She was a member of Tharptown Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Clyde and Eula May, brothers; James May and Charles May, sister; Dorothy Howard, and grandchild; Rhett Masterson.
Survivors are husband Jack W. Masterson of Russellville, sons; Greg Masterson (Kathy) of Russellville, Tim Masterson of Russellville, Jeff Masterson (Leah) of Russellville and Joey Masterson (Teresa) of Phil Campbell, daughter; Lori Masterson Malone (David) of Tuscumbia, brother; Clyde Richard May, sisters; Mary Ruth Grigsby, Levon Darby, Ann Oakley, and Linda Mitchell, grandchildren; Erin Masterson, Julie Masterson, Jill Masterson, Tate Malone, Grant Masterson, Abbie Malone, Jonathan Dill, and Jake Dill (Tara).
Family will serve as pallbearers.
